Kelsey Wood, LPC
Therapist for postpartum depression and anxiety in Coeur d’Alene, ID
Hi, I’m Kelsey Wood, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Idaho. I grew up in North Idaho and love raising my family in Coeur d'Alene. My interest in supporting moms began with my experience of becoming a mom. For a lot of us, having a baby is the first time we really start to think about our mental health and how it ties into raising a happy, healthy child.
Pregnancy and new motherhood can affect us in ways we don’t always expect—physically, emotionally, and mentally. It’s a time when getting a bit of extra support can make all the difference.
In my own journey, I found that learning about attachment and the importance of early bonding moments was incredibly helpful. But I also know how overwhelming it can feel to balance all of this, especially when we are struggling with anxiety or depression. Therapy is a practical way to get the support you need, whether it’s your first time or you’re just looking for someone to talk to.
I’m here to help you sort through the challenges, understand your needs, and navigate this life stage with more confidence. If you’re feeling unsure about therapy, that’s okay—I always encourage a phone consultation to see if it feels like a good fit.
